Free concert and Food drive too Central Florida doesn’t have autumn leaves, but we do have two very special events each fall. Thanks to the sponsors of both events, Tampa Bay Harvest also has the opportunity to raise additional items for our community’s needy.
Mark your calendars: for October 2004 when the Florida Orchestra holds a free Pop Concert in the Park, complete with waterside views and fireworks at downtown St. Petersburg’s beautiful Vinoy Park. Tampa Bay Harvest volunteers will be on hand to collect the donations of non-perishable food from concert goers
In November Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo has its annual Zoofari event, at the end of which TBH volunteers collect the left-over food for distribution to local charities serving the needy.
