need volunteers to fulfill responsibilities in all areas and we have provided a brief

TRANSPORTER
deliver food from a donor site to a recipient agency
site which takes approximately 1 hour per
delivery. You own vehicle is required.
SPECIAL
EVENTS ACTIVITIES a single individual or group
activity, such a fruit picking food drives, or volunteer
fairs. Usually, this is on
evenings/weekends.
ADOPT
A DONOR PROGRAM is
designed for group
participation. This is a combination of
transportation and coordination functions with
transporting responsibilities shared
among the group members.

BASED ACTIVITIES
COORDINATOR
manage
for one or more donor
relationships which requires monthly
communication
with donor,
recipient agency, and the assigned volunteers.
VOICE MAIL RECEPTIONIST retrieves
and responds
to messages left on TBH voice mail 3 shifts available
daily.
PHONE TREE - activated when a large group of people
must be contacted with minimum amount
of notice.

COMMITTEE ACTIVITIES
FOOD-DONOR SOLICITATION -
Contact local restaurants, grocery
stores, hospitals, schools
and other food sources. We provide you
with
the training and materials.
GRANT WRITING Experienced grant
writers are
needed to write and submit grants. Needed materials
and will be provided.
DONOR RELATIONS Assist with
maintaining contact
with current donors.
AGENCY REVIEW Interview local
community service
organizations who have indicated an interest
in becoming a recipient.
PUBLIC RELATIONS Contact local
media (magazines,
radio, television, newspapers) to Encourage
coverage of our programs and special
events.
SPEAKERS BUREAU Be a part of the promotions
committee, speaking before local Organizations
(script, video and background materials
provided).
PHOTOGRAPHY Videotape and
photograph ongoing,
or special activities.
